Leila Golestaneh is an Iranian American potter that is based in London. She studied under Marcello Fantoni in Florence, Italy.
Leila's work is inspired by play and the clay itself. She is interested in mark making and pattern that derives organically from working with clay. Porcelain paper clay is used in most of Leila's work which is thrown on the wheel and then altered into its final sculptural state.
